What findmethatdamjob.nl does

findmethatdamjob.nl is a job board that surfaces open positions from company career pages in Amsterdam. We display job titles, company names, locations, and links to the original application pages. We do not host applications or collect applicant data.

No account required to browse

You don't need an account to browse jobs on findmethatdamjob.nl. The only personal data we ask for is an email address you voluntarily give us to receive job alerts or our newsletter (see below). When you click a job listing, you are directed to the company's own careers page, where their own privacy policy applies.

Email alerts & newsletter

If you sign up for job alerts or our newsletter, we store: your email address; the job categories you chose; whether you want alerts, the newsletter, or both; the dates you signed up, confirmed, unsubscribed and were last emailed; a random link code that identifies your subscription in the emails we send you; and a record of which jobs we have already emailed you, so we never send the same one twice. We use this only to send you the emails you asked for. We never sell or share your email address.

Consent and double opt-in. The legal basis is your consent. After you sign up, we email you a confirmation link and only start sending once you click it. Job alerts and the newsletter are separate opt-ins. If you never click the confirmation link, nothing is sent.

Unsubscribing. Every email we send, including the confirmation email, has an unsubscribe link and supports one-click unsubscribe in mail clients that offer it. You can unsubscribe from job alerts and the newsletter independently on your manage page. Unsubscribing stops the emails but keeps your address on file so your choice is remembered; you can re-subscribe any time.

Seeing and deleting your data. Your manage page shows everything we hold about you. It also has a "Delete my subscription and all my data" control that removes your address, your choices and the record of emailed jobs immediately and irreversibly. We keep no blocklist afterwards, so if someone enters your address on the signup form in future you would receive one confirmation email, which you can ignore. Database backups are kept for 7 days and then overwritten. If you no longer have a manage link, request one on the manage page or email us (below).

Retention. We keep subscription data until you delete it. Signups that are never confirmed may be removed after 30 days.

Processors. Emails are delivered by Resend, which stores each message, including your address, for 30 days on servers in the United States under standard contractual clauses. Our database and the API that serves this site run on Fly.io in Amsterdam. The daily alert emails are prepared by a scheduled job on GitHub.

Analytics

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used (page views, popular categories). PostHog assigns your browser a random identifier; it does not know your name or email address, and we never connect it to your subscription. Pages that carry your subscription link code load no analytics at all.

Analytics cookies are only set if you explicitly accept them via the cookie banner. If you decline or dismiss the banner, no analytics cookie is set: analytics uses tab-scoped session storage instead, which lets us count the pages you view in a single visit. It is not shared with other tabs and is cleared when you close the tab, so you are not recognised on a later visit. If you accept, PostHog may also record how you move around a page (session replay). You can switch analytics off entirely at /opt-out/.

Cookies and browser storage

findmethatdamjob.nl stores the following in your browser:

• Cookie consent preference — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies
• Theme preference — remembers your light/dark mode choice
• Analytics opt-out — set if you switch analytics off at /opt-out/
• Alerts prompt — remembers that you signed up or dismissed the job-alerts prompt, so we stop showing it
• Analytics cookies — only set if you explicitly accept them via the cookie banner
• Analytics session storage — used instead of a cookie when you have not accepted one, so we can count the pages you view in a single visit; cleared when you close the tab

No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Third-party services

The site is served through Cloudflare, which sees your IP address as part of delivering the pages. Typography uses Google Fonts, and company logos are loaded from Brandfetch; both receive your IP address when your browser fetches those files. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and withdraw your consent at any time. For subscription data, your manage page does all of this without needing to ask us. For anything else, email us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
